Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Community supported agriculture, or CSA, is an opportunity for community members to support local farms by purchasing a weekly share of that farm's produce. Individuals or families become CSA members by paying an agreed amount at the beginning of the growing season. This upfront payment helps us buy the seed and other inputs needed for the season and provides an immediate income to begin the season.  This allows WCG to concentrate on good land stewardship and growing high quality food.

Your purchase of a CSA share also enables us to continue serving Williamsburg and James City County through donation of produce to our community partners (including St. Olaf’s Food Pantry, Grove Christian Outreach Center, and Olde Towne Medical & Dental), providing space for folks to garden, and supporting our educational programming about growing food and conservation practices.
