Williamsburg Community Growers is a 501(c)(3) organization with the vision is to grow Williamsburg's healthy community food ecosystem.  WCG operates a community garden and teaching farm located on a 10-acre parcel of land located within the Dominion Energy power corridor between Warhill High School and the Warhill Sports Complex (WSC). Launched by the Colonial Soil and Water Conservation District (CSWCD) in 2015, Williamsburg Community Growers (WCG) began managing the property in 2016 and secured a land use agreement with James City County in 2017. WCG continues to develop and make the space productive with support from many community, regional, state and national partners.

WCG has donated TONS of pounds of fresh, locally grown produce to community organizations, offered educational opportunities with local schools and gardeners, served as a platform for service learning by volunteers, provided locally grown produce for farm to school programming, and helped demonstrate real, practical conservation opportunities to protect our surrounding natural resources.

We can't wait to see what the coming years will bring, and we hope you'll join us to find out.
